For 50 years, Medical City Fort Worth has helped care for North Texas — growing from Plaza Medical Center in 1976 into a 378-bed acute care hospital and tertiary referral center. As Medical City Healthcare celebrates this milestone, we’re proud to recognize the colleagues, doctors and community partners who have helped advance high-quality, patient-centered care for generations. The celebration also included a $25,000 donation to the Tarrant Area Food Bank through the HCA Healthcare Foundation’s Healthier Tomorrows Fund to help address hunger and food insecurity. Thank you to Fort Worth Councilwoman Elizabeth Beck for presenting an official proclamation declaring Aug. 27, 2026, Medical City Fort Worth Day. Together, we’re continuing to care for our community and help give more North Texans a healthier tomorrow. #HealthierTomorrows
