Emmitt Smith Interview! @RossTuckerNFL is joined by Hall of Fame running back @EmmittSmith22 to discuss why the Herschel Walker trade created the platform for the Cowboys dynasty and how Dallas still has that same opportunity, his work with Narcan and the Ready Rescue campaign, and more!
On May 15, 2019, Mitchell Lundgaard was shot by a man he had just helped to revive. Ruben Houston was experiencing a drug overdose on a bus; in response to a 911 call by a fellow passenger, Mitchell arrived with other firefighters and emergency personnel. They administered Narcan and Ruben regained consciousness, but when they tried to convince him to go to the hospital, he drew a small weapon and engaged in a gunfight with nearby officers. One of his shots struck and killed Mitchell, who left behind his wife and three young sons.

This is amazing. We all know from Seattle to many different smaller cities throughout Kind Snohomish and Pierce County that drugs are the main reason for homelessness in these places. We see them with our own eyes and yet The Mayor of Seattle has the nerve to deny what we see every single day in all of these places. Yes, there are a few families that have been displaced and I hope they have a camper or a big van to live in while they wait for housing. Laws need to change and politicians who don't care even though they act and interview like they do care is our problem in WA. They unfortunately are more concerned with climate change (which is important) but not as important as protecting their citizens their businesses small and large and their kids from needles and fent dust and child abduction etc. Katie wants and is building housing that some will use and some will many will prefer the streets. The tents, the woods and parks and they will us propane and we will continue to have fires as we have in many places. I am a Democrat just saying and this is all just out of control. It was bad and then the "summer of love haha" happened after the big march and riots and police defunded in Seattle and Durkin finally walked and Harrell took over. He tried but with some state help he could and would do better. Our mental institutions are practically nonexistent and our rehab revolving door for these drugs isn't working at all. It's in then out and all over again. Our streets filled with sirens day and night and that is to provide Narcan or whatever and life saying TX. But then they just use again because that is what addiction means. It is physical and psychological and at that point they can't help themselves like this and we just ignore that. It's a wait until they die or rob or destroy properties of cities and citizens who are trying to do their best themselves to stay afloat. Katie will probably walk too just like Durkin did and who knows how much worse this will get before she leaves. I don't understand why the voters in Seattle with families or not won't recall her now and speak out about the truth. They will help many more with truth than denial. I worked on the streets with homeless with crack and meth issues in Snohmish County. This was almost 35 years ago. Granite Falls at that time was a major spot and it was in a rolling stone or High times magazine talking about it calling it the meth or crack capitol of the world. Check it out have a reporter run that down. many voting for Katie and the others weren't even born and or were very young kids and don't know much of what I write about. I have no reason to write untruths. I am not a politician, and I do not work for a politician. I am a Centrist at heart always have been. I tell you this so you can see this is not bias. These words I share are just the bottom-line unfiltered truth as I see it through experience working in it and wishing for so long I could have done more. Seattle will go down folks and your jobs and your safety with it. Speak out have a march or demonstration about this and save your other rhetoric for later when we fix out cities. And remember you who come for the World Cup the streets you see or you are directed to use will look nice as these folks who live lean against buildings and use the bathroom on the sidewalks are hidden from you. Once you are gone back to wherever you come from it will be same as the new usual the new of the last 6 years at least and farther back but you know. Eh Enough.
